“Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav to Lead Road Show in Varanasi on Saturday”
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav’s spouse, Dimple Yadav, are set to hold a joint roadshow in Varanasi on Saturday in support of INDIA bloc candidate Ajay Rai.
According to PTI, Congress representative Shailendra Singh mentioned that the procession will kick off at the Durgakund temple and will end after prayers at Ravidas Temple.
Throughout the event, Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav will also place garlands on the statue of Madan Mohan Malviya at the Singhdwar of Kashi Hindu University. The roadshow is scheduled to begin at 4 pm.
Varanasi district Congress head Raghavendra Choubey mentioned that upon their arrival from Babatpur airport, Priyanka Gandhi and Dimple Yadav might visit Baba Shri Kashi Vishwanath before starting the roadshow.
“Delhi Hits 41.7ยฐC, Temperatures Expected to Reach 44ยฐC on Saturday”
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) confirmed that the national capital experienced a high temperature of 41.7 degrees Celsius on Friday, slightly above the usual for this season.
According to PTI, IMD has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Saturday, expecting temperatures to rise to a maximum of 44 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 31 degrees Celsius. However, there is no forecast for a heat wave.
The Met office uses a four-tiered colour-coded warning system: green (no action required), yellow (stay updated), orange (be prepared), and red (take immediate action). On Friday, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 30.8 degrees Celsius, four degrees higher than the seasonal norm, with relative humidity ranging from 42 percent to 60 percent throughout the day.
Saturday is anticipated to see predominantly clear skies with surface winds blowing at speeds of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour during the day. Additionally, remote areas may experience warm nights.
