A video recently gained widespread attention on social media, showing a meeting between former US president Donald Trump and professional wrestler Paul on Wednesday.
In the footage, also shared by Trump’s team on Instagram, the 77-year-old and the 29-year-old wrestler faced each other with serious expressions.
The clip then showed them bursting into laughter and embracing each other. Trump also gave Paul a T-shirt featuring his mugshot.
In a different brief clip, the business tycoon was observed giving Paul a T-shirt with a mugshot and an autographed hat, with Paul’s popular hydration drink bottles appearing in the background.
“Is this your mugshot? No way! You’re a gangster!” Paul exclaimed.
The video posted by Trump’s team depicted both of them standing face-to-face in front Paul’s WWE United States Champion belt, before they laughed and hugged.
The ex-president also suggested that President Joe Biden should join Paul’s, before remarking, “Do you know what the chances of that happening are I’d estimate less than 1%, alright?”
The podcast featuring the four-time indicted former president on Paul’s Impulsive is scheduled to be released on Thursday.
