Saudi Arabia Sights Zil Hajj Moon, Eid ul Adha Set for June 16.

The authorities in Saudi Arabia have declared on Thursday that the crescent moon has been observed in the kingdom, indicating that the first day of Zil Hajj will occur on June 7 (Friday), as reported by Gulf News.

According to a statement from the Saudi Supreme Court, Arafat Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 15th, with the first day of Eid Al Adha following on Sunday, June 16th.

According to the source, Arafat Day is scheduled to occur on the ninth day of Zil Hajj (June 15). Likewise, the initial day of the sacred month will be commemorated on June 7, and the first day of Eid Al Adha will be observed on the 10th day of Zil Hajj.

In Pakistan, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is anticipated to witness the sighting of the Zil Hajj moon on Friday (June 7).

According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, the Zil Hajj moon will come into existence on June 6 at precisely 5:38pm.

He further stated that there is a high likelihood of the moon being observed on June 7 since it will have been in existence for over 26 hours by then.
