They are speculating that this video indicates that the actor is preparing for his upcoming project, rumored to be titled ‘King’.
Shah Rukh’s fans spot ‘King’ Script
A group of Shah Rukh’s devoted fans uploaded a video on X platform featuring Shah Rukh expressing his admiration for the renowned cinematographer and director of his film ‘Asoka’ (2001), Santosh Sivan. This came after Santosh Sivan was recently honored with the prestigious Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Shah Rukh, speaking from his office, fondly recalled his collaboration with Santosh. However, despite Shah Rukh’s heartfelt words, his observant fans appeared to be more interested in something else.
A few observant X users noticed that the script for ‘King,’ the upcoming film of Shah Rukh Khan, was visible on the table beside his chair in the video. One user remarked, “The King script is ready, brother (fireworks emojis),” while another asked, “Did anyone notice the King script book?” A third user joined in, stating, “I’m prepared for King (crown and fire emojis).”

Reports suggest that Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, ‘King,’ will see him returning to his portrayal of a notorious gangster. While he won’t be reprising his iconic role in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’ (which is said to be taken over by Ranveer Singh), Shah Rukh will be making a comeback as a grey character in ‘King.’ What’s interesting is that this film will also mark the theatrical debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan. Suhana had previously made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s coming-of-age period film, ‘The Archies,’ on Netflix India last year. In ‘King,’ she will be sharing the screen with her father and playing a character who is mentored by him.
The movie will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is a collaboration between Red Chillies Entertainment, owned by Shah Rukh Khan, and Marflix Pictures, led by Siddharth Anand. This partnership comes after Shah Rukh and Siddharth previously worked together on the film “Pathaan”.
