Aravind has been employed as an IT specialist in Australia since 2017 and tied the knot two years ago. They had made plans to visit India and had already secured their tickets, while Aravind’s mother, who had been residing with them in Australia, had recently gone back to India.

On May 19, Aravind told his wife he was taking their car to the garage but disappeared afterward. When she tried calling him later, there was no answer, prompting them to report him missing to the New South Wales police on May 20. His body was subsequently discovered near a beach in Sydney, and a DNA test confirmed it was him.

As per the PTI report, Aravind, a native of Shadnagar, was the sole son of the deceased local BJP leader Arati Krishna Yadav.

Krishna has appealed to the central government to facilitate the return of Aravind’s body. In response, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has written to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, asking for the required support to repatriate Aravind’s remains to India.
